The excitement continued at WestWorld during QuikTrip Family Day on Sunday, October 13, with a stunning lineup of beautiful vehicles and prized automotive memorabilia. Enthusiasts and collectors alike reveled in the final day of the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, presented by Gila River Resorts & Casinos, taking in the sights and sounds of the world-class event as the weekend’s finale unfolded.
Over 120 cars crossed the block on the fourth and final day of the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction. The day’s top sales included Lot #1003, a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440 that crossed the block for $101,200, followed by a 1951 Chevrolet 3100 5-Window pickup (Lot #976), a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko re-creation (Lot #1001), a 1972 Ford F-250 pickup (Lot #1012), and a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner convertible (Lot #1000).
Family Day featured the Phoenix Children’s Choir singing the National Anthem on the auction block after a nostalgic trip down memory lane with more authentic pieces of history taking center stage during the Automobilia Auction. From vintage advertising signs and posters to classic gas globes and kiddie rides, the auction offered a diverse selection of collectibles, ensuring there was something for everyone to appreciate and bid on.
Audience favorites included Lot #9573, a late 1940s-50s Cadillac Wayne 70 gas pump and Lot #9581 and a 1927 Mobilgas American Model #1123 visible gas pump, each selling for $23,000. Also in the day’s top ranks was Lot #9587, a Harley-Davidson light-up sign for $17,250; Lot #9568, a 1950s Coca-Cola Vendo 56 coin-operated soda machine for $13,225; and Lot #9562, a vintage Indian Motorcycle kiddie ride for $9,775.
Excitement buzzed around the auction site as guests enjoyed the adrenaline-packed Dodge and GR Supra Thrill Rides on the Performance Track. Meanwhile, the final three battles of the Southwest Chef Showdown kept everyone entertained, and the Exhibitor Marketplace was bustling with shoppers exploring unique offerings. The outdoor Midway provided a wide variety of food options, keeping everyone fueled for the day’s events.
A highlight was the Future Collector Car Show, where over 100 future collectibles from the 1980s to present day competed for Best of Show.
